You left me all a l o n e,
The bright shine or a midday sun glowed furiously, its heat enough to drive one crazy. The emeralds glistened in the heat, oblivious to the change of season. The wind was still, creating a heavy moisture that sunk hearts or any who dared to bare it. The large oak stood proud and tall, its long spider-like branches clawing the skies. They proved little protection to the equines who dared to venture into this godforsaken desert. But one, unlike the rest, could bare the heat and suffering. She was running from something greater.
Copper diamonds fly through the opposing winds, pillars surging with power. Like birds running from a storm, she ran with fear. Her worst nightmare could offer no comparison of how she felt, and lived. The devil's shadow loomed from her homeland, killing her sire. Taking away her comfort, gripping her soul, black ivy curling and strangling what was left. Relations with her dam slipped like day to night, no longer could she remember a conversation with the vixen. No longer did her trust hold, her sire failed, and her dam. She was left with no friends, the only other was Eros. And he had to much pride to stand.
Flame-licked canvas sparkled, the fire burning within her struggling to escape. Rage, cracking up within her tiny frame. Scorching those who dare to glimpse into her hard optics, showing only the hate of this land. Scanning, but not looking. Looking, but not seeing. They soaked the colorful wildflowers, lushous emeralds, ancient oaks, each with its own story. The story of this land, they always tell truth, if you stop to listen. But she had no time, not for beauty or truth, her heart was to full of anger to change now. Tossing her skull, orbs stared up at the crows navigating the skies. Lanky pillars tucked up beneath her frame, boa arched with grace. Shriek of rage called to the birds, hind limbs kicking in frustration. Oh how she longed to swim in the clouds, fly like them. Free of the shadow, his shadow. But the crows merely squalled back, they had no fear of this foolish vixen. Spreading their pitch wings, each one-by-one climbed higher into the icy grip of the clouds, till she could no longer catch the black specks.
Sigh emitted the restless vox, 'thud' echoed against the hard terra, slowly crumbling in the summer heat, as her once airborne frame landed with a crashing realization. Skull popped into the heavens once more, dragging her sweat soaked frame back up. Neigh emitted, boisterous and strong, declaring her presence. But not that it mattered, the demon had a strong hold, and her wasn't about to let go...Megedagik
Can anyone save me n o w?

Lion of the Forest heard a neigh, and walked carefully through the grass, keeping himself hidden. He spotted a wild chestnut mare standing a short way in front of him. His fingers strayed to the coil of rope he kept tied to his belt. He would never forgive himself if he let this beautiful horse escape him! Lion changed position slightly so he was downwind of the mare, and crept closer, knotting the rope into a lasso. Guessing at the size of the mare's neck, he put a knot in the rope so that it would not slip too tight. He didn't want to strangle her. Creeping closer, with the lasso finished, he leapt up and threw it over her neck.

Don't know who or w h y,
Wind blew sweet across the plain, brining the scent of deception with it. Trees swayed with it, their branches clawing at the heavens. Leaves rustled, music filling the air. Birds cried their musical lullaby, arguing back and forth from time to time. Crickets chirped, the sun still shining harsh on the land. Ivory clouds rested on the horizon, large with their rain. It would bring rest to this land, filling the dried rivers and feeding flora.
Golden cranium jerked high in the air, paper-thins sucking in the scents. Flora, dirt, rain, wind, equines, and something unfamiliar. Tangy and mysterious, like nothing the vixen had before meet. Diamonds danced in place, scuffing the terra. Pillars flexed and tensed, ready to bold at any moment. Fight or flight, it over-powered her thought, scenes. Live or die, kill or be killed, she was ready for the new creature.
Sienna canvas glistened with sweat, the sun burning her from the inside out. Ivory tassels stuck to her straining boa, as it arched and positioned to fly. Orbs flicked back and forth, but she couldn't spot the creature, only its scent lingered, sticking to her paper-thins. Fear was overpowering, she couldn't understand it. All thoughts of Megedagik and her past family vanished. Then it was all to late, the rope was thrown, and she was a second to late.
Panic-stricken optics spotted the rope as it glided through the air, slipping over her skull. Ripping back her boa as if it was struck by lightning, she rose onto her hind legs. The rope tightened, gripping her thin boa, struggling she pawed furiously into the air, striking nothing. Ivory tassels flew wildly around her cranium, surrounding it will long shadows. Coming back to earth, she pinned her thorns flat. Barring her fangs at the creature, she lashed out hoping to catch on something. Backing up, she tugged on the rope, it burned into her thin canvas, leaving long whip marks...
But you messed with the wrong f i r e.

Lion hung onto the end of the rope as the mare pulled against it. She lashed out at him and he stepped back, letting out more rope so that maybe the mare would stand further away and couldn't kick him. He tied the end of the rope to a thick tree root sticking out of the ground, and stepped back in an effort to disassociate himself with the rope.

It's like the good a d v i s e,
The slight vixen's breathing incensed, sucking in the cool breeze though her paper-thins. This creature was so, different from her usual. Standing on two pillars, not the norm four, no fur whatsoever, but on it's cranium. And what could possible be those sticks reaching from it's front pillars, they grabbed at everything as it they owned it all. She despised those sticks, already and she had no clue. The gentle ways one second, pain the next.
Azure optics stared grimly at the creature, sparkling in their hate. Thorns pinned her skull as if they were one with it. Chest rose and fell with her labored breathing, copper canvas glinting with sweat that trickled down her side, splashing the terra. Tassels stuck as with plaster to her boa, veins sticking from her bodice. Slacking the rope, her cranium drooped, shifting to her hind end. Spinning like lightning, the vixen pushed with all her might from the creature, pillars stretching out to freedom.
Boa snapped back, the rope grinding into her flesh. Forelimbs were yanked off the earth, orbs rolling back into their sockets. Crimson splattered the terra, staining the rope. Shriek of pain emitted her vox as her frame was pulled to hell's roof. Skull crashing first, then her frame hard behind it.
The forest went silent, wind ceased to blow, birds stopped their bickering. The shadows hung from trees, like claws retching out to take you. The vixen lay still, only the rise and fall of her chest presumed her living. Optics still back in their sockets, expression softened. Death is better than him... Her only thought, she waited for it to take her. Or the creature to finish what it had began.
You just didn't t a k e.

OOC: That's good, I was getting a bit worried there!
Lion moved forward quickly and untied the rope. He gently patted the mare's trembling neck and stood back holding the rope. He tugged gently on the rope, hoping that she was tired out from trying to escape the rope, and get to her feet. Then he would be able to lead her back to the land of Pointed Stones.

ooc|| lost my muse for this place, so my posts wont be so long from here out
Anger and a g o n y,
Optics opened to slits, peering from beneath her fog, staring the creature into his own orbs. Flinching to its touch, anger rose up in her belly. She snorted angrily, scrambling to her diamonds as the thing tugged to her boa. Baring her ivorys, she snapped viciously toward it. Canvas shivered, as the sweat began to cool. Her gaze never leaving, diamonds shifted to the side. Frame slithered a step toward, and another. Diamond jerked back, maw shooting toward the skys. One step forward, one step back...
Are better than m i s e r y.

Lion pulled up a bunch of grass and held it under the mare's nose. Here girl. Come on. It's safe, you can trust me he said softly, trying not to scare the horse. He slackened the rope so that she couldn't pull and hurt herself. Come on. It's okay.

Roses are red, violets are b l u e,
Optics watched closely, following every movement of the creature. Frame shrinking back as it's hand extended. Diamonds scuttled on the disturbed terra, kicking up even more dirt. Thorns pinned to her cranium, warning the thing to get no closer. Orbs watched as the thing show, jade strands lay in its palm. Confusion swept her, what exactly did it want? Fangs barred, warning for the last time. But her patience was running thin, ivories flashed, snapping down on the creatures finger.
I just can't stop hating y o u...

Lion winced as the mare's teeth closed on his finger. He yanked it back and rubbed it, still holding the grass. Well, if you're going to make this difficult, you should probably know that I don't give up easily. He tied the rope back to the tree root and sat down. I can wait all day, you know. He pulled an apple out of his bag and began to eat it, ignoring the horse.

I've seen diamonds c u t,
Frightened neigh escaped her vox as the thing pulled back its hand. Diamonds slipped on the sod as her sweat soaked frame back up, catching herself at the last moment. Breath came short as her optics watched the creature set itself beside the tree. Catching her breath, Whiplash turned from the human, flicking her whipcord. Thorns flicking back to catch it's lyrics, not understanding its strange language.
Pillars soon trembled from exhaustion, she longed to lay down to sleep. Fear from the human kept her from relaxing, snapping awake every time something shifted. Shifting her weight, Whiplash rested one diamond, then the other. Eyelids soon began to close, cranium drooping towards the ground.
Through harder men than you y o u r s e l f.

Seeing the mare begin get tired, Lion stayed as still as possible, his brown clothes almost blending into the dry grasses. He watched as her eyes closed and her head dropped, as she began to nod off. He himself dozed half asleep, ready to leap to his feet if there was a threat.
