It's a death row p a r d o n,
Smokey vision of a young sienna goddess drifted down the prairie, her slender frame almost dancing to an unheard tune. Pillars reached out in front, eating up the space it took. Diamonds striking the sod, its damp soil flying into the heavens, pushed by the vixen's ever moving daggers. Her thorns positioned just right atop her frail cranium, pricking as it to catch every little sound there was to be had.
Her joy was to be short lived, thoughts of the stag she had met not but days ago kept popping up. She may have promised to go with him, but like it or not he could deal. If the brute wanted her, he better come and get her. She no longer wished to follow him, a little change now and then is nice. Never could the beaut stay in one place to long, it was all to much. to stay like that. A big herd and you just get lost in it all, at least, that's the way she felt.
The wind blew though her dreads, spraying them like a sea of flames across the vixen's dainty boa. Speed slowed to a halt, frame knee high in the grasses. They tickled at her pillars, rubbing and itching her pelt. Their emerald glow begged her to feast, but this vix was not hungry, she had to much on her plate right now. Turning her cranium side-to-side, the vix watched for any signs of life. Just a twitch, anything. Sighing, she let her disappointment flow from her windpipe. Shutting her amber optics, thorns pricked to the faint whispers of the wind...
Two minuets too l a t e.

Pillars moved silently, carrying the massive bulk across the domain. Whipcord snapped at his hindquarters trying to rid the pests from his pelt. Duo-tainted coat could be seen easily above the grasses, except that of his pillars which were hidden because of the grasses height. Skull lowered, grabbing a slight bite to munch on. Boa rose his skull once more. Maw munched on the bit of grass contentedly. Bi-optics moved across the land simply. Gaze landed upon that of a paramour.
His first instinct was to leave. Not wanting to bother the lovely goddess. But he couldn't draw his optics off of her. Skull soon shook, what was he thinking? Torso lifted as he half reared, only to trot a few mores paces away. Auburn optic was toward her direction. Whipcord snapping once more. Snort was emitted from his vox, skull soon shaking sending the rest of his bulk into a shake. Maw took another bite of the grass, munching on it lightly. Optics soon found their way back to the paramour. His pure light azure optic being seen easily, showing that he was bi-eyed. Thorns pricked in her direction...Had she even seen him?

Can't I just be here one more d a y,
The vixen sighed, her sweet breath floating through the emeralds around her frame, banding their long stems away from the vixen. Alae slowly opened her amber optics to gaze at the intruder. Her bubble shattered, if it wasn't even enough to be claimed by one, another so soon? She seemed to be cursed with her beauty, it attracted all sorts of bugs. It wasn't that she had a problem with stags, oh no she loved them, but it was like she was honey and they were flies. The good ones came, but so did the bad. And they all came at once, till she was all gone.
But now she just sighed, putting a smile on her face. Give him a chance, to be something more than that. She cocked her cramium to one side, studying the brute. He was intreced for sure, but a paint just like her. The vixen flicked her crimson ivory banner lazily, shooing the true flys. "Can I help you lord?" Her lyrics sounded sweetly...
Until my sunburn fades a w a y.

Skull tossed hearing her inquiry. Boa shook sending his tassels flying, only to slap the other side. Bi-optics stared at her for a few moments. He chuckled under his breath slightly, but not loud enough to hear. Baritones soon spoke, gently...softly almost. "I'm unsure of how you mean...I was just wandering through.." Gaze stayed on her for a few more moments. That is before diverting to grabbing another bite to munch on. Trying to hide his timid side was hard..For he never had liked to speak too much. He feared speaking would get him into some type of trouble. Trouble he'd want to steer clear of. Yes, he wanted and liked company...He just had a hard time at first. Wasn't ever too fond of first impressions..

What you got n o w,
Chuckle emitted from the vixen, finding the stag's lyrics ironic. Just wandering? Hardly. She thought, eying the stag. Amber optics traced his frame, but it was nothing special. Graze lingered, before flicking from the stag. Following the motion of emerald's sway, her own tassels falling softly to her boa. Messy forelock falling across her face. Annoyed, the vix flipped her cranium to rid the mess.
Sighing, weight shifted to her other side. Gaze flickered back to the stag, scening his shyness. Maw opened slightly, pausing before releasing her lyrics, "No stag I have ever met, came to a claiming grounds to...wander." She sounded, jokingly. Smile crossing her kissers.
Gotta, gotta give it u p.

What good does it do?
Smirk crossed his facade at her comment. He was relaxing a bit. Baritones spoke smoothly. "Then that makes me the first?" He inquired her soflty, with a hint of teasing. But what he said was true. He had come here just wander. Looking for company more or less. Skull tossed making his tassels slap at his boa. Baritones spoke once more. "Any how, even if I had come to find a dove...What good would it do me? I have no home to take them to...No that it really matters, but it does to the lot of them." Two-toned optics gazed at her, a bit of mystery strewn through them.
My real intentions...are never known.

Rain that makes the flowers b l o o m,
Thorns pricked, catching the stag's lyrics. Cranium turned from the stag, kissers reaching to the sky. Thoughtful expression crossed her face, smirk crossing her maw. Chuckle emitted her vox, before turning back to the brute. "Well there's always a first for everything." She laughed, diamonds shuffling to shift her weight.
Whipcord flicked slightly in the wind, thorns almost missing his next lyrics. Optics rolled back in their sockets, thinking for a moment. "A lot yes, but we can travel together. No one ever said I wanted to be with you anyway." The vixen joked, companionship would be pleasent. But she wasn't looking for a comitment.
Rain to leave you all a l o n e.

Being different--
Gaze shifted off in the distance as she spoke. Smirk was still plastered to his facade. Yes, companionship would be great...Commitment...not so much. Baritones soon spoke after she had finished. "I never asked you to be with me...Yet travelling sounds good, allows both of us to be as free spirited as we wish.." Boa shook once more, soon sending the rest of his bulk into a shake. Those pests were beginning to get annoying.
Daggers danced slightly as his frame turned. Skull gazed back towards her. Such a beaut..Yet no paramour had appealed to him..Or was it that he just didn't want the responsibility of another that always needed to lean on him? But this one seemed different than most...much different. Baritones once more were emitted from his vox. "I'm going to find a place to take a dip..maybe a roll. Your welcome to join me if you'd like." His skull soon turned away from her, pillars striking forth as he moved a simple walk.Isn't always bad..

Tell me that you're a l r i g h t, Sienna whipcord flicked across her hocks, tips dancing long after the motion had stopped. Thin pillars danced eagerly, thorns picking up the stag's lyrics. Smirk crossed her velvets, cranium nodding softly. "Of course my lord, but first may we exchange callings? It would be silly to go on without!" Lyrics inquired softly, teasing the stag.
Boa arched, scarlet tassels playing softly across her features. Deep creamy optics watched as a pair, doe and stag bounded across the field behind the painted lord. Sigh released her windpipe, almost envious of the creatures. Cranium turning back to the painted lord, realizing her mistake. "I be Alae, by the way."
Because everything is a l r i g h t.

Pace slowed to a halt at her inquiry. Oh he forgot to introduce himself. Oh well, he often forgot anyhow. Skull turned back to view her. Thorns pricked at her next words. 'Alae...What a pretty name..I must remember that.' Boa arched as his skull bobbed. Baritones flowed easily. "Bad habit....I beith Ghost Feather..." Bi-optics watched her simply. Thorns pricked forward. He never had been one much for callings, but that was only cause his name was longer than most...And he never did get a nickname, espicially since he was too shy around others. Whipcord snapped at his hindquarters. He was awaiting patiently for her next lyrics or even movements at that.

When you said you were falling a p a r t,
Smile played across her kissers as she took in his name. Boa flipping patiantly, sienna tassels flowing gracfully across her arch. Diamonds shifted to take her thin frame closer to the stag, but still with enough room to breath. Alae hated to be to close, to anything or anyone. But Ghost Feather, as he called himself, was already begining to grow on her. Just a little.
Multi-colored whipcord flicked to shoo the pests that swarmed in the growing heat. Lyrics formed, flowing gentely from her vox, "No problem, I forgot as well. But Ghost Feather is a mouthful, how about...just Ghost?"
I though that ment you were falling a p a r t.

Whatever you wish..
Thorns flicked towards her at her movements. His skull soon nodded simply at her reply. Mouthful it was, but at her last inquiry he was slightly taken aback. Baritones replied humbly. "Whatever you wish it to be...Will be fine by me." Optics gazed at her gently then diverted away. Gaze ran across the terrain, but his thorns never moved away from her general direction. Maybe he was becoming fond of her, but none never had gotten this far in a conversation with him. He usually went quiet or left them alone. But something kept him talking, talking with this particular paramour. Skull turned back toward her, lyrics coming forth from his vox. "Shall we be off, and maybe rid ourselves of these pests?"
Let me make it come true..
