As Running Cat rose across the praire on Namir, he tripped on an abandoned praire dog hole, and fell onto the ground. Cat was flung off his back and landed amongst some bushes. Namir instantly came running over, concerned for Cat and hoping he hadn't hurt her. Cat got up and brushed the dust off her clothes. I guess that means we've been travelling for too long, Namir. This looks as good a place as any to wait to join a tribe.

Russet diamonds pounded the sod below the vixen, her frame drifting towards the pair before her. Optics watched as the stag tripped, sending his human flying. Water Lilly chuckled softly, frame coming to a silent halt. Nicker emitted her vox, pitch whipcord flicking softly against her hocks.
Thorns pricked to catch the human's lyrics, though she never quite got what any of them said. A languge all their own, it sounded like rubish. Memorys drifted to when she herself had been owned, Aponi her name. The young girl was foolish, always getting into trouble. But Water Lilly would take care of her, always did. Till one day...snort emitted her vox, shaking the though from her mind, concentrating now on the human and stag...

Namir heard a nicker and turned to see a bay vix, standing a short way off from him and Cat. He stepped closer to her, bowing his head in greeting. Cat was still pickig thorns from the bushes out of her clothes, and hadn't noticed the mare. Hello. My name is Namir.

Thorns pricked to catch the stag's lyrics, consulting her thoughts for a moment. Optics drifted from the stag who called himself Namir, landing on the human. She watched a second as the human continued to pick thorns from her clothing. Water Lilly though it was odd human, wore such things. Was it to hide something? What did they keep under there?
Gaze turned back to Namir, snort emitting her vox. "Lo, my calling be Water Lilly, but most just say Lil." She spoke, her tone soft and drifing as the wind.

Hello Water Lily. What are you doing here? I assume you're wild?
Cat looked up and saw Namir standing a short way off with a wild mare, but she stayed where she was. She was just a little aware of the conversations horses had with each other, and she knew not to interrupt.

Water Lilly nodded, cranium bouncing her long messy tassels into the air. Pitch dreads fell methodically back to her boa, making a slight slapping noise. She kept her distance, feeling now the human's realization of her presence. Caution from years of captivity and freedom told her to keep a distance, yet she was not afraid of people.
Kissers opened, lyrics flowing sweetly from her vox, "I believe you are correct Sir Namir, but I wish no longer to be alone. And what better place to start that here?" Her lyrics inquired, optics sparkling mischievously.

Indeed. I'm here because my human doesn't want to be alone. I go where she goes. But I feel alone as well. I haven't met any other horses in a long time. He stepped closer to the mare.
Cat picked up her pack and rummaged through it, she couldn't find what she was looking for.

Thorns pricked once more to catch his lyrics. Cranium nodded, understanding his need to stay with the human. From her experience with the strange creatured, they couldn't care for themselves. Didn't have much sence, or if they did she never saw it.
"Likewise myself." She added, whipcord flicking aimlessly. Dejected look crossed her features, mind returning to thoughts of Aponi. Trying to push them away, optics switched back to the human, watching closly to what she was doing.

Maybe... maybe we could.. uh... ease each other's loneliness? Namir looked away, embarrased, wishing he could take the words back as soon as he had said them. Of course she wouldn't want him. Especially not with Cat hanging around. It wasn't that he resented her presence, but other horses did.

Cranium cocked, taken-back by Namir's statement. It wasn't she didn't wish to go with him, but they had just met. No one before had ever welcomed her so quickly, if at all. Lighthearted look soon replaced confusion. Smirk crossed her pitch and ivory kissers. Gladly, if you'll have me that is."

Don't worry about that. I was more worried that you wouldn't accept me. Sorry if this seems pretty sudden. It's sudden for me as well. Nothing like this has really happened to me before. He looked over at Cat, still sitting and watching him. Do you realise what that would mean, though?

Cranium nodded, pitch tassels flying to sway gently around her crimson boa. Gaze set on Namir, before switching away. They stared closly at the human, diamonds shifting nervously. "I suppose we should get it over with?" Lyrics prodded anxously. Gaze shifted back to Namir, unafraid of the hman. Only afraid of the memory it would bring back...

OOC: Okay
Namir nodded. He turned towards Cat and whinnied.
Cat heard Namir's whinny and looked up. She stood up and walked over to where he was standing with the wild mare. She held out a hand to the mare so she could smell it.
