»Frame clumsily moved through the unforgiving sand. This was exactly why Falling Snow liked winter best. It was much to cold to go to the beach, and she did not have to try to keep from falling over on the wet sand. The warm high tide slapped against her diamonds, giving her white glossy coat a dull, dreary look.
»Suddenly, a creamy frame came into sight. Falling Snow stopped, the tide still hitting her daggers. This stag was much different than any other she had ever seen before. He had a sleek silvery mane and a tail to match. Pelt was pigmented a creamy white, making him almost invisible. Falling Snow approached him cautiously, to be sure that the stag would not do her any harm.
»Who be you?
»Lyrics echoed across the open beach. Falling Snow’s skull held a sultry, yet very powerful look. For a moment she stared, then realized that she had spoken, so his attention would be on her.

The light of death…
x.Diamonds dug soundlessly into the warm sands. The rain had ceased and he no longer glowed. Silver tassels smacked his boa occasionally as they filtered through the warm breezes that the rain had brought with them. Orbs scanned his terra, determined to protect his new vix from trespassers. Soon, his diamonds laid over a white vixen standing in the tide. He stopped for a moment as she made her way to him. She better be prepared for his answer if she was determined to stay on his beaches. Diamonds shimmered in the bright sun beating down on them. Whip was still except for the occasional stands that flew separate from the others.
x.Orbs scanned the vixen with slight interest. His barrier was up and hiding all of his feelings from his crystal blue gaze. She seemed out of place in such a sunny area. Lyrics were released to her showing nothing. They were as dull as if he was speaking to a rat.
I be Ghost. Why do you come to Sunset Shoreline?
If she was asking to stay, she would not be turned down, but not loved either. She would have to fight her way up. In his mind, fighting spilt no blood, it was just showing how loyal they would become. He patiently waited for her reply.

»Sultry look still held, Falling Snow watched as the stag studied her. He's interested... This stallion would be a good target. He seemed easy to seduce. Yet something seemed different about him. Falling Snow made her way to him as gracefully as possible through the wet sand. It stuck to her diamonds, causing her to look down. She hated looking at her hooves. The posture made her look nervous, the farthest emotion from her mind at the moment. When her frame reached the stag, she heard his reply. With that, a surprised look came to her face. It sounded as though he had just spoken to a rat (LOL)!!
»They call me Falling Snow. I come here to join your herd.
»and be at your right hand as you lead... Maybe seducing Ghost would be harder than expected.

the light of death...
Icey blue optics never left the vix as she came towards him. She seemed uncomfortable in the wet sand he loved. His gaze was uninterested and lazy. Stainless canvas glimmered in the new sunlight that was cast upon the two. It was a strange thing. And this mare she seemed...something was different. Auds perked slightly, listening to her sing-song lyrics, but that was the only interest he showed. He didn't fancy this strange vixen. And she wanted to join his herd. He almost laughed inside himself, but had to keep it down. He knew that was why she tampered on his lands. She didn't fit in here though. Her shade was to much like the snow that so seldom laid over the sands. Retort came slowly, still hiding all emotions. Whipcord smacked his hocks lightly, but only from the breeze, as he spoke. Lyrics were empty, almost as if he was waery, but the brightness that showed in his optics told a different story. He didn't see the need to hide his true feelings from her. But nothing changed.
You may join, Falling Snow...
Even her name was out of place in his sandy home. His optics studied her over again, but his mind didn't really take anything he saw in. Just that still, she seemed out of place. He turned, diamonds moving through the wet sand with elegance. Cranium turned and optics once again looked into hers.
Do not expect anything from me though. Now. Are you coming?
Diamonds then began moving without an answer and he went to the shores where the water lapped at his pillars. Gaze went behind him again and he spoke once again, not knowing the question was coming.
I must ask. Why do you come here?
He didn't regret for asking it, he wanted to know why a mare that didn't fit in with the beach came to it to live. She seemed the kind that liked the forests.

»Falling Snow winced when asked why she had chosen this place. Her history was something she was not proud of. It held bad memories that didn't need to be remembered. That dark night... there was so much snow...
»I... I... need a new beginning.
»Snow trotted clumisly to catch up with Ghost. Glance was stolen when Ghost wasn't looking. Orbs were a stunning blue. Coat was cream, though it had a slight glow to it. »A hint of lust was felt toward Ghost. He was attractive and seemed as though he was a good leader. The stag didn't seem to be as interested in her and she was in him. More time was wanted with him.
»If I am going to be living here, it would be nice if you could show me around my new home.
»Lyrics flowed, hinting her attraction to him. Turquoise optics shimmered, showing her enthusiasm for him.

x.Optics met her's, but only for a split second. Then, he looked past her, towards the white beaches. She needs a new beggining. His mind spoke to him, almost like two differents. She wants to stay in your land, and.. He shook the thughts away and focused on her other lyrics as she walked clumsily towards him. A hint of attraction was there, flooding her lyrics with emotions. The land...she wanted to see the land... Thats what he forced his mind to believe. Yet he knew, he was forcing something deep down back into his mind that he wouldn't let himself think.
x.Tassels snapped at his boa lightly as he flipped his head and began walking. You can't like her, remember Dream... He just continued to repeat it to himself over and over as he spoke again,
Coming? It will be getting dark soon.
x.Trying to hide the emotions from his lyrics, he wasn't sure if he succeded or not. He would not meet her pools again, or he would try. He looked forward, trying to make sure others weren't watching and wouldn't notice is true feelings. She almost glowed when the sun hit her creamy pelt, so like his it was. Shaking his head again, he nickered softly and flared his nostrils. Her sent engulfed him, trying to close his mind to all suroundings, he looked back to her and almost lost it at her sight. Once again, he slipped his head back around and looked ahead, fearful Dream would sense his feelings. It had to be showing even thought he tried to force it deep down inside him. This vix...she was so..different. And he didn't know why...

»He was beautiful. His coat shimmered in the sun and his tassles hit his boa perfectly. That was it; she was in love. Not that love you hear in fairytales. A real love. The kind that makes you feel all warm and mushy on the inside. The kind that lives in secret, shared between two beings. The kind that she felt for him. Her heart fluttered as he walked, when he turned around to beckon her, when he looked into her blue orbs. It was there, and Snow would fight for it.
Yes, I'm coming.
»No matter what.

the light of death...
x.Auds swivled to listen to her hoof falls behind him. He tried to bury all his feelings withing himself, but couldn't do it, he knew some were lashing themselves all over his apearence, so easily able to see. Turning his head, he saw her beside him. Her pelt ripled with her movements and the sun made her shimmer. Quickly, before he got lost in his thoughts. He looked away. Mind searched for something to say, not wanting his lyrics to give away his affection for her. He couldn't think of anything.
x.Aqua slapped at his diamonds, and he wanted to move away from it, they had stolen his first love, they were deathly...but he stayed where he was on the shoreside. A bolt of dry lightning flashed overhead from the past storm. It wouldn't rain for a little while, so he didn't have to risk losing this vixen to his strangness. She would find out in time. Smoke still rose a distance away from the small fire that engulfed the dried log, but he didn't want to think about that now.
Falling Snow...?
x.He almost kicked himself. Now what? She would ask him what, and he wouldn't have an answer! Now he almost wished it would rain...Whip smacked him lightly and he looked straight ahead, not letting his gaze venture away this time.

»Heart pumped nervously in bodice as he said her name. It sounded so sweet parting from his kissers! It took all that she could to not go over to him and nuzzle him on the neck. But the way he said those words... Falling Snow? sounded so magical it was insane. they seem so full of emotion, yet so torn between two.
Yes, Ghost?
»Lyrics were filled with enough emotion to give a normal equine a massive migraine. But Snow was not a normal equine. She was different, in one way or another. She never could point out what it was, but there was something.
»And then, all at once, Snow's frame disappeared. Snow hadn't left; she could still see Ghost in front of her, but he couldn't see her. Her daggers were totally transparent and Snow had no idea how to change back...

x.Mind jumped back and forth between Dream and Snow. What was he going to do now? Would Dream understand why he had broken his promise to her? Why he now loved one more. He knew he still loved Dream, but Snow...she seemed different...When she spoke to him, he wanted so badly to spill out everything, and almost broke himself into pieces holding it back.
x.A cool breeze went by, colder then normal for a beach, and it made him shiver slightly. His tassels and whip ruffled around him and he stopped. Not knowing if he could take another step... He was going to do it...he could do it. Turning his head, he seeked to see Snow, but only saw the sand. He could see the indentations from her diamonds, but they stopped right there....right beside him...There was no Falling Snow their either, just...nothing.
x.Orbs took on a puzzled look. Was this a trick? He could feel his heart beating against his chest, wanting to see her again. He nickered slightly. Wondering if she had gotten lost somewhere, but he knew better.
Snow? Where are you?
x.He didn't know if it was fright welling up inside him or not, but something sure was. He wanted to call out, but knew Dream would hear him and then probably think he was crazy. He was starting to think so himself.

»Invisible orbs darted around the dreary sky. Cranium was being overloaded with thoughts and emotions. Fear, lust... thoughts turned back to Ghost. He had noticed she was no where to be seen. Literally. Snow wanted so badly to tell Ghost that she was right here, but then again, she didn't want to frighten him.
»Finally, Snow decided to slowly tell Ghost that she was right in front of him. She knew he would ask what happened, but that answer would come later. Deep breath was taken, and lyrics flowed
Ghost, I'm right here. I think I'm... invisible.
»Snow concentrated with all her might and focused on making herself visible again. After a few seconds, her frame started coming back into view. Slowly but surely she could be seen again.

x.Now he knew he was going crazy. She was invisible? Shaking his head, he continued letting his gaze swarm across the beach. He began walking, but slowly. His diamonds cut softlly into the warm sand that had dried in the few minutes. Then, he saw something flicker beside him, darting around, he saw Snow reappear. Yes...I am going crazy... He closed his optics for a moment to the world hoping everything would be back to normal when he opened them again.
x.During the time his pools couldn't be seen, he thought about what he was going to tell Dream. If he let Snow live with them, if this wasn't all a dream, would she understand? He would always love her, no matter what. And they had a foal together, Snow and him didn't, and might never...He continued letting his mind swim through different thoughts untill everything was sorted out and he had nothing else to think about except for if she would still be standing before him.
x.Orbs snapped open and auds perked, looking. There she was...right where he had left her. Her ivory pelt glimmered in the bright sun that shone down on them both. Kissers parted, but only realesed a bit of what he wanted to.
What just hapened?
x.His question was sleek and emotionless. He was going crazy, yes. Was all that really could filter into his mind. Even the lust had been destroyed from them. Zephyr ruffled his tassels which smacked softly on his creamy boa. His whipcrod played at his hocks, but everything was a daze to him except her and what had just happened. She is different...

»What had just happened? Not even Snow herself could answer that question. One moment, her frame was solid and visiblie, the next moment, she was totally transparent. Yes, it was strange. But Snow vaguely remembered something like that happening before. That night crept back into her mind.
»No, no... don't! Please!
»Lyrics whispered softly. Maybe Ghost had heard her, but maybe not. His gaze was fixed to the sand. He had to have been shocked at the fact that this strange vix had come onto his territory carrying this... what could this thing be called? A gift? Nothing is a gift if it scares those you love. When it frightens, it's a curse. A curse and nothing else.
»I... I truly don't know Ghost. Nothing like that has ever happened to me befo....
»Snow's voice trailed off, and then it was so quiet even the calm waves drowned out the noise. Skull felt to light. Attempting to steady herself, Snow locked her diamonds at the knees. This only made matters worse. What was happening to her? Was this some sort of sign? A sign of what though? None of this made any sense to the now falling Snow. Frame slammed against the warm sand. Though she had fallen, her skull lowered it self slowly, as to help to drift off into a light sleep.
»Ghost, I...
»Then, she was asleep.
Falling Snow

x.Auds perked, trying to hear the vixens soft lyrics. Don't do what? Optics sent her a puzzled look. Silver tassels fell away from his facade and smacked lightly on his glowing boa. Could began forming again, promising rain. If this happened now...what would she think of him? Maybe it would make it all better. They were both different, she just didn't know that.
x.Craninum shook. Wishing she could understand it. Snow didn't need to make up excuses for him. He didn't care if she was different. The only thing he wished for was the truth. Diamonds fell back as she began falling towards the sands. He seemed to freeze, not knowing what to do. It was like a flashback to just a couple weeks earlier. He had seen this before, but maybe this time he could stop it. Cranimum lowered and crown fell over his optics. Worried optics. Muzzle caught the falling Snow's cranium and gently lowered it to the soft sands.
x.Light rain began falling. Pelt began shimmering. What would she say to this? Some accepted it, some didn't.
Snow? Snow please.
x.Icey blue gaze stayed locked to her. Pleading. Waiting...

»Snow, Snow please. When Falling Snow heard these lyrics flow from Ghost's lips, it was the only thing that kept her from losing her consciousness. It was then and only then did Snow realize that Ghost had begun to glow. His pelt was slightly transparent, but it still gave off a small glimmer of light.
You're... you're different. Just like me.
»All Snow could do was stare at him. She didn’t know how, but somehow she felt different now. It made her stomach turn, but in a good way. This feeling had never come over her before. Snow smiled.
We’re both different.
That feeling. It must’ve been… love.
