General

• This is an advanced role playing site. You MUST be able to post at least 300 words to join. We would like more, but it is not required.
  
  
• After you create a character, do NOT post until you are accepted by an admin. If you are caught posting before you are accepted you will receive a 25% warning.
  
  
• Never double post. It is very ANNOYING!!!
  
  
• Spell things correctly. Chat speaking is just stupid.
  
  
• Oh Also, use correct grammar. Don‘t be a little kid.
  
  
• Characters age one year every three weeks. Don’t make your character live forever.
  
  
• One person is NOT allowed to have more than five characters. We do keep track.
  
  
• You are not allowed to have more than one account unless for a plot or the admin asks you.
  
  
• If there is a name in the title of a thread that means you are NOT suppose to join it unless invited. That is very annoying when it happens.
  
  
• We have forms everywhere where we need them. If they are optional, then it will say, otherwise you must follow the form or your post will not be accepted.
  
  
• Power Playing(PP) and God Modeling(GM) are strictly forbidden. If you are caught doing either you will be banned from the game for a certain amount of time.
  
  
• PP is when you make your character end up doing something without the other person allowing it.
  
  
• GM is when you make your character invincible or always dodging attacks.
  

Power-playing:: The strawberry roan mare came into the open field and spotted the buckskin mare near a small river. Pinning her ears her ears she bolted and kicked the mare in the neck. Turning on heels she bit the mare deeply on the rump. That is wrong!!

Not power-playing:: <The strawberry roan mare came into the open field and looked around for the other mare. They had agreed to meet here for the battle. She continued to gaze around looking for the buckskin mare.

<The buckskin mare moved elegantly through the dark forest towards the battle grounds. There she saw the strawberry mare. Walking towards the river, she stopped and waited for the attack to come to her.

<Pinning her ears, the strawberry pelted mare bolted towards the other mare and attempted to kick her on the neck. Then, turning on heels, she lunged at the mare. hoping to sink her teeth into her rump.That is right!!

• As you can see you don’t say something happens in one post. You have to spread it out so the other person agrees or disagrees.
  
  
• Do not insult other members. I know we can’t read your PMS, but we hope you will respect the other members that keep this game running.
  
  
• Please. PLEASE follow all the rules. There are also C-Box rules that are important. Do not flood the C-Box. EVER
  

Horses

• After your character is accepted by an admin, you must either go join a specific herd, or enter the Claiming Prairie where a leader of one of the lands come to search for members.
  
  
• NO GRAPHIC BREEDING!!!!! If you do, you will be temporarily banned from the game.
  
  
• Horses can ONLY breed in the spring. We don't want SOTC to get over populated. The time of year is posted atthe top of the page.
  

Joining A Herd

• After creating a character you may post in the Claiming Prairie if you don't really care which herd you join.
  
  
• It is in the Claiming Prairie that you will find where your heart will lie. You can deny a stallion if you wish.
  
  Battles

• You must be very carful not to power play when battling.
  
  
• To kill a character in a battle you must have approval from that member and the admin.
  
  
• Battles must be held at the Battle Plateau.
  
  
• You have to get hit sometime in a battle. You can not dodge every attack. If you do, it will be considered god modeling and you will be punished.
  
  
• The moderator of the battle lands will decide on the winner and post it along with the injuries of both contestants.
  

Foals

• All foals become adults at age four.
  
  
• Foals MUST be born in Life’s Meadow.
  
  
• You MUST wait for Gracie to post your foal’s(‘) stats. If you post your own you will be punished.
  
  
• You have to wait two real days after breeding to post in Life’s Meadow. Be thankful we don’t make you wait longer.
  

Judemant Hall

• After a horse dies, you must post in the hall.
  
  
• Your character will be asked what they think they deserve and why. So make sure you are ready!
  
  
• The one that decides where you go is Zeus, played by the admin account.
